Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. First gymnast in history to achieve a score of 10 in an Olympic competition. Bela Karrolyi who was the Romanian gymnastics instructor who became Comaneci's coach later on found her around the age of six. Her first competition was at the national junior championships of 1969, finishing 13th. She won the competition in the year 1970. In her first international competition in 1972 a pre-Olympic junior meet for the communist-bloc countries she was awarded three gold medals. In 1973 and 1974 she was all-around junior champion. She took home four gold medals and one silver medals at her first international competition for seniors that took place in 1975. It was the first time she competed as an older senior. In 1976, she was the winner of the American Cup at the New York City Olympics and was the first female ever to remove the bars in parallel with a double backward salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her career began in the entertainment industry in her teens, when she performed as the figure skating duo of her sister Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne born 6 September 1942 Chicago Illinois US. Carol began her career in the entertainment business in her teens. When she was a child, she began performing as a figure skating performer with Nina Wayne in the travelling show of entertainment Ice Capades. The shows were ice skating performances that were accompanied by theatrical music.
